Now comes trublz! Detroit born and raised til age thirteen when I was uprooted to Kansas due to family problems.....once here in Kansas I was instantly running with the wrong crowd and getting into trouble....fast forward many years later and a few foster homes and failed adoptions later and you'll see a trublz with a big chip on his shoulder. Fast forward again and you'll find a man filled with anger and prison in his immediate path....after several prison bids and trips in and out of the county hip hop roots prevailed ...and this time it wasn't in the form of breakdancing,beat boxing, or scratching or dj'ing it was rapping .....now from the power of chuck d's voice arose his unknown mentor and the use of voice inflection. Although hugely compared to pac and dmx and even face at times it's strictly coincidental. In prison I argued " PAC was weak and wasn't talking bout nothing" then comes brendas got a baby and dear mama, that made me proud to be compared to such a profound lyricist. Now years later after so many years rocking the yard and having the crown in every camp or cell block I've been in, and out in these streets they all told me I was the next one.....now I'm telling y'all the same! I'm a profound lyricist that doesn't really do club music. He'll my life ain't been a party.....i got the name from trub (Travis knighten) and he took me under his wing and we became friends and even though I was going through a drug addiction at that time he saw a hustler in me and a realness. He told me it was a phase and told me I was lil trublz while we were in rdu awaitin transport to prison...I proudly accepted the name and told him of my mic prose and that I would one day make it famous ....it took a min but I'm on my way! As an artist / CEO of Midwest money gang I'm bringing a different sound and feel to the industry than what's usually coming from this area....don't get me wrong I'm not saying I'm better than anybody ,I'm saying ain't nobody better than me,and I'm different.....now I know why PAC wasn't able to just come with the profound first . You gotta get dey attention first. So out of all my errors trials tribulations and mistakes, successes and failures I got a lot to talk about.....and now I call myself trublz! for a new reason, not because of what I am but because of what I've been through.
